Chinese Contributions to Russian Residents for Paintings and Inscriptions on Shells: Uncovering the Unofficial Support for the War in Ukraine

The Chinese began to actively contribute to Russian residents for paintings and inscriptions on shells.

Putin’s army followed the path of Ukrainian volunteers, who in the summer of 2022 could put their name or any other writing on the shells for donation.

As it turns out, on the social network X there is an account of a resident who collects donations from Chinese residents and publishes their wishes on the shells, the channel reports “365 in Ukraine“.

So the Chinese unofficially, but still support the war in Ukraine. The cost of such a service is not known. On the inscriptions you can see the names of Chinese cities, and someone asked to write “With love from the USSR”, as well as “Destroy the Nazis”.

For the first time, Ukrainian volunteers used such a practice in the summer of 2022. First, the writing could order for a donation of 152-mm shells or 5-meter missiles for the Buk air defense system. Volunteers charged a $400 donation to write on the Buk hull.

Xi also called on the West not to help Ukraine with weapons until the war ends quickly.
