With the launch of the European Commission’s anti-dumping investigation, there has never been more talk of Chinese cars than today. Moreover, the strong push for electrification, desired by Brussels itself, is favoring the entry of technologies and new manufacturers from the country of the Dragon. In fact, there are many brands arriving on our continent, with announcements of new models that follow one another from week to week. For electric cars, the debut markets are generally represented by Germany, Holland and Northern countries, while for more traditional models the market at the forefront is the Italian one, as demonstrated by the recent success of MG’s hybrid and petrol models, as well as of the Italian Di Risio group, which offers cars of Chinese origin (especially Chery) in Europe. Many manufacturers in the People’s Republic, however, have luxurious and technological brands in their sights, starting with Tesla.
