Over the course of the year, the line of passenger cars of the Chinese brand Oting will be replenished with four new models. This is stated in the company’s message, which was received by Izvestia on April 4.
The list of new products includes a compact crossover, a large-size SUV, as well as a pickup truck and a model in the LCV segment. By 2025, the number of dealership centers in Russia is planned to increase to 100 units.
The first model of the Oting brand, the Paladin frame SUV, entered the Russian market at the end of February; the cost of the car in its basic configuration is 3.8 million rubles. “Paladin” is produced on the Nissan Terra platform; before delivery to the Russian Federation, the car received a number of modifications, including a new interior. The car is equipped with a two-liter Mitsubishi 4K31 petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 218 hp. With. (360 Nm) in conjunction with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Paladin is produced at the Zhengzhou Nissan plant (a joint venture between Japanese Nissan and Chinese Dongfeng), and a distribution agreement has been signed with it for five years. The Paladin car was given a Russian-language name in honor of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and China.
