One of China’s largest beer makers has launched an investigation into a factory worker after a video of him urinating on a stock of barley malt in a warehouse went viral.
The clip with the urinating warehouse employee of brewer Tsingtao Brewery was posted online last Thursday. The images were viewed tens of millions of times on Chinese social media. The employee could be seen climbing onto a high wall of a container and then urinating on its contents.
Tsingtao reported the incident to the police and other security agencies have also been informed. The batch of malt in question has now been “completely sealed.”
Hong Kong-listed Tsingtao is China’s second largest beer brewer.
