According to “Mirror Weekly”, people familiar with the matter pointed out that Koo Zhongliang had started negotiations with Farglory three years ago and would raise 60 billion yuan to win the Dome, of which Koo Zhongliang holds 50% of the shares, and SoftBank and CP Charoen Pokphand Each will get 20%, and the remaining 10% will be invested by other Taiwanese industry players. Asian pop music king Jay Chou is also interested in buying shares, but the shares are not large, accounting for only 1%.
In response, Yang Shunqin responded that in the BOT contract, there are regulations regarding the transfer of equity, so whatever decision the Arena Company or Farglory Group makes will comply with the contract’s regulations.
Yang Shunqin admitted frankly that after the operation of the dome, many groups or companies have indeed been contacted, but currently “there is no such plan. We must first clarify that since there is no plan, there are many reports, including its structure or price. “It’s all speculation.” “In the future, we will still be self-operated. Currently, we are the contract fulfillment manufacturer of BOT. We will operate the Arena well in accordance with the contract and provide better services to citizens and fans.”
