Chinese astronauts went into space at Tiangong station

Chinese astronauts Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo made their first spacewalk since the launch of the Shenzhou-12 mission. They went outside their module to carry out work on the Chinese space station Tiangong.

Only two of the three astronauts in the Tianhe module on the Chinese space station went into outer space.

This is the second spacewalk of Chinese astronauts since the Shenzhou-7 mission in 2008, during which Liu Boming helped another astronaut to make a 20-minute walk outside.
