The crew of the Shenzhou 15 astronauts have completed all the scheduled tasks and will return to the Dongfeng Landing Site in the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft on June 4. The landing site and the participating systems are ready to welcome the astronauts back home.

On November 29, 2022, the Shenzhou 15 spacecraft was launched into orbit. At present, the crew of Shenzhou 15 astronauts have been working and living in orbit for more than 180 days. During the period in orbit, they successfully completed four out-of-vehicle missions, becoming the crew that performed the most out-of-vehicle missions; they also carried out multiple load out-of-vehicle missions, 8 human factors engineering research, 28 aerospace medical experiments, And 38 space science tests/experiments, covering life ecology, material science, fluid mechanics, etc., obtained valuable experimental data.

On May 30, 2023, the crew of the Shenzhou 16 astronauts successfully entered the Chinese space station, and “joined forces” with the crew of the Shenzhou 15 astronauts. Afterwards, the two astronauts will carry out on-orbit rotations on the space station, and work and live together on the space station for about 5 days as planned to complete various scheduled tasks.
