According to her, few countries officially recognize Taiwan, and this has forced Taiwanese to form unofficial partnerships and agreements, to contribute to international organizations as a non-state party.

“If this line is broken by force, it will disrupt international trade and destabilize the entire western Pacific. In other words, failure to protect Taiwan will not only be a disaster for Taiwanese; this would overturn the security architecture that has ensured peace and exceptional economic development in the region for seven decades, ”she said.
