BEIJING, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) — An industry report released by the China Registration and Depository Center for Banking Wealth Management said that China saw more investors in wealth management products in 2022, after lowering the market entry threshold.
According to the report, the number of investors for wealth management products was approximately 96.71 million until the end of 2022, an increase of 18.96 percent from the beginning of this year.
By the end of 2022, the balance of wealth management products reached 27.65 trillion yuan (about 4.03 trillion US dollars), down 4.66 percent from the beginning of this year.
