Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Recently, the world was shocked by a drone attack (drone) targeting Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence in the Kremlin. A number of reactions also came from a number of countries, including China.

After the attack, Russia immediately accused Ukraine of being behind the attack. But not long ago, Russia put forward the theory of US involvement.

On the other hand, there were also allegations that the attack was a trick by Russia to blame Ukraine.

China is reluctant to point the finger at either side and prefers to call for de-escalation after the attack.

“China’s position on the Ukraine crisis is consistent and clear. All parties need to avoid taking actions that could further exacerbate the situation,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning was quoted as saying. Russia TodayFriday (5/5/2023).

He said Beijing would “continue to work with the international community to play a constructive role for the political resolution of the Ukraine crisis.”

Meanwhile, China unveiled a 12-point roadmap for ending the crisis in February, and has emphasized that the Russo-Ukrainian war can only be resolved through negotiations.

Russia has repeatedly said it is open to continuing negotiations with Ukraine but only if Kyiv takes Moscow’s “interests and legitimate interests” into account.

Meanwhile, US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby denied any accusations against his country for the attack drone To install kremlin.

Instead, Russia is suspected of being behind the drone attack on the Kremlin and blaming Ukraine for the case.

This was conveyed by analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). They said it was likely Moscow carried out the attack itself.

“Russia most likely carried out this attack in an attempt to bring the war home to a Russian domestic audience and set the conditions for wider societal mobilization,” the analyst said, quoted CNBC International.

ISW noted that several indicators indicated that the attack was internal and deliberate.

Russia has recently taken steps to upgrade its domestic air defense capabilities, so it is highly unlikely that two drone could penetrate multiple layers of air defense and be blown up or shot down right over the heart of the Kremlin where it was caught on camera, ISW said.

Moreover, ISW believes that the Kremlin’s “immediate, coherent and coordinated response” to the incident demonstrates that the attack was internally prepared in such a way that the intended political effect outweighed the embarrassment.

Previously, Russia had also reported a series of attacks drone to its oil transportation and facilities, one of which is the Ilsky oil refinery in Krasnodor Krai. Russia also blames Ukraine as the culprit.
