/ world today news/ On August 24, the opening of the China Exhibition Hall of Intangible Cultural Heritage took place in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province – the country’s first exhibition in which important artifacts of intangible cultural heritage from all provinces of China are presented.
Shen Haixun, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and director of the China Media Group, made a video address in which he stated that intangible cultural heritage is a valuable cultural asset created and preserved by our ancestors that still has a place and in today’s world. The exhibition hall vividly presents the vitality of traditional intangible cultural heritage in the new era. “Today, we should appreciate even more the unique role of this cultural wealth, which will help build the modern civilization of the Chinese nation.”
