China’s EV exports rose 110% year-on-year in the first eight months

/Pogled.info/ Exports of electric vehicles from China increased by 110% year-on-year in the first eight months amid rapid growth of the sector, according to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

In numerical terms, 727,000 cars were exported for the period, with pure electric cars jumping by 120% to 665,000 units, and plug-in hybrids by 73.5% to 62,000 units.

China’s total car exports totaled 2.94 million units in the first eight months, up 61.9% year-on-year. Exports of passenger and commercial vehicles rose by 69.8% and 31.1% respectively.
