A China Eastern plane crashes in Guangxi, China southwest, and caused the mountain to burn, Monday (21/3) local time. However, as of this writing, the number of victims is unknown.
The Boeing 737 plane crashed in the countryside near the city of Wuzhou, Guangxi region.
“A China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 carrying 133 people has crashed in Teng area, Wuzhou, Guangxi, causing a mountain fire,” CCTV said, citing the Guanxi emergency management bureau.
According to the report, rescue teams are being dispatched to the scene.
Local media reported that China Eastern flight MU5735 did not arrive at its scheduled destination in Guangzhou after taking off from Kunming city shortly after 13:00 pm (0500 GMT)
There was no immediate response from China Eastern when contacted by AFP.
