He stated that in the last five months, 24 policies with 59 specific measures to attract foreign capital to the country have been undertaken, and more than 60% of them have made active progress. Among the measures is the exemption from foreigner’s bonus tax, the return of taxes to development and research institutions with foreign investment when purchasing Chinese equipment.
“A new version of the permanent identity card for foreigners in China, a guide to work and life for foreign businessmen in the country, and other measures have been introduced,” added China’s Minister of Commerce.
