/ world today news/ The China Manned Space Flight Agency announced that Shenzhou-17 will be launched tomorrow, October 26, at 11:14 a.m. Beijing time.
The mission consists of the three taikonauts – crew chief Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengjie and Jiang Xinglin. At present, the Shenzhou-17 spacecraft and the Changzheng 2F launch vehicle are functioning normally, and the crew is in good condition.
During its mission in orbit, Shenzhou-17 will welcome the Tianzhou-7 cargo ship and the manned Shenzhou-18 and return to Earth in April next year.
The agency also commented on China’s plans to send a manned mission to land on the moon. At the moment, comprehensive research work is underway on the matter, which will ensure the landing of the first Chinese on the Earth’s satellite before 2030.
