/ world today news/ A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry yesterday answered journalistic questions regarding the participation of the special envoy for Ukraine Li Hui at the international meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, last weekend.
He pointed out that during the forum, Li Hui had extensive contacts and talks, during which he explained China’s position and proposals for peace in Ukraine, listened to the opinions and proposals of all parties, as part of efforts to reach a common understanding of a political solution to the crisis.
All countries recognize China’s positive role in promoting peace and negotiations. Beijing will continue dialogue and exchange with all on the basis of its position on a political solution to the Ukrainian crisis, in order to contribute to its political settlement.
