China Weather Network’s Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Holiday Clothing Index Map: When to Change from Short Sleeves to Long Sleeves

During the second half of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, cold air will disturb the country. Look at the map of clothing index to see where to change from short sleeves to long sleeves.

China Weather Network News Before you know it, this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday is about to pass. Are you guys still having fun? It is expected that there will be a new wave of cold air in the second half of the holiday (October 3 to 6), and the dress code in many areas may change as a result. China Weather Network has launched a national Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday clothing index map to see where you need outerwear for body protection and where you need to replace short sleeves with long sleeves.

From October 3 to 6, a cold air will significantly affect the northern region of my country, and may penetrate into the southern region later. Affected by this, the temperature in northern North China, Northeast China and other places will drop by 4 to 8 degrees Celsius, and the local drop in Northeast China may exceed 10 degrees Celsius. The temperature in many areas will continue to reach new lows since autumn; in most areas of the south, before the arrival of cold air, the heat Continuing, short-sleeved shirts are still the “most beautiful” item in the wardrobe in many places.

According to the National Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday clothing index map launched by China Weather Network, in the second half of the holiday, affected by cold air, the daily maximum temperature in most parts of Northeast China, Inner Mongolia, eastern Northwest China and northern North China will generally be less than 20 degrees Celsius ℃, the lowest temperature at night is even only in single digits. For example, in Shenyang, the minimum temperature on October 4th and 5th is expected to be only around 5℃, which may be the lowest temperature since autumn. In the above-mentioned areas, a coat should be kept as a constant item when going out to prevent colds.

If Northeast and North China are cold in the morning and evening, then the cold in the northwest is throughout the day. In most of Xinjiang, most of Qinghai, western Inner Mongolia, most of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and other places, not only are daytime temperatures low, but the temperature difference between day and night can reach more than 10 degrees Celsius. Residents in these places can no longer resist the cold with ordinary coats and must take out their clothes. Thick coats such as cotton clothing will protect your body.

As the cold air gradually penetrates southward, the temperature along the Yangtze River to Jiangnan will also fluctuate in the second half of the holiday. The maximum temperature in central and western Hubei, central and northern Jiangsu, northern Anhui and other places may gradually drop to below zero. At 20℃, the wardrobe faces challenges in retaining short sleeves. At this time, mixing long and short sleeves is a good choice. Cover the short sleeves with a long-sleeved shirt. Take it off when it’s hot and put it on when it’s cold, showing your freestyle.

Some areas in central and eastern Sichuan, western Chongqing, and western Guizhou will also experience a cooling of about 5℃. In some places in Yunnan, the temperature will fluctuate by 2~4℃. These places are basically near the end of the holiday, so long-sleeved clothing is recommended. Finally got a chance to play.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that short-sleeved clothing still dominates areas from southern Jiangnan to most of South China. These areas have little to do with the “cool autumn”. The hot weather lasted throughout the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day holiday. Places such as Guangzhou and Meizhou may still experience high temperatures. Although the coastal areas of South China may be affected by the wind and rain brought by Typhoon “Little Dog” in the later period, the maximum daytime temperature in most areas will still remain around 30°C, and summer clothes are still the “strongest king” in the wardrobe.

Generally speaking, in the second half of this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, my country’s weather stage is quite lively, with rain, wind and cooling. China Weather Network reminds that friends who still have travel plans in the second half of the holiday should pay close attention to temperature changes, grasp the dressing rhythm, and spend the entire long holiday relaxedly and happily.
