Zhang Jun, China’s permanent representative to the United Nations, said that China urges the relevant countries to immediately and unconditionally lift all illegal unilateral sanctions and return the hope of survival to children.

There may be many children under the rubble, who lost their precious lives due to untimely rescue or insufficient rescue capabilities.
Zhang Jun said that to achieve peace, we must adhere to the fundamental direction of political settlement, and we cannot resort to coercive measures such as sanctions; to achieve peace, we must implement the purposes and principles of the UN Charter; To promote multilateralism, strengthen dialogue and cooperation, and oppose unilateralism, Cold War mentality, bloc politics, and confrontation between camps.
