China Space Station Prepares For 1,000 Science Experiments

Nationalgeographic.co.id—China launched the core of its space station in April and dispatched three of its astronauts in June. While the space station may not be ready until the end of 2022, experimental proposals from around the world are already long in line.

To Nature, Chinese scientists said that China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) has temporarily approved more than 1,000 trials, some of which have already been launched. Tiangong (Chinese for heavenly palace)—the name of the Chinese space station—has been welcomed by many researchers to conduct experiments in outer space.

Previously, the International Space Station (ISS) was the only orbiting space laboratory. The researchers said, Tiangong is an addition to astronomical and Earth observations. In addition to studying how microgravity and cosmic radiation affect the phenomenon of bacterial growth and liquid mixing.
