China Southern Airlines will resume operations on the Niigata/Harbin route from January 15, 2024 (Monday). There will be one flight per week, only on Mondays, and the aircraft will be an Airbus A320. This route used to operate twice a week, but has been suspended since February 2020 due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection. This time, the flight will be resumed for the first time in four years.

International flights departing from and arriving at Niigata Airport include Tigerair Taiwan’s Taipei (Taoyuan) route and China Eastern Airlines’ Shanghai (Pudong) route, as well as Korean Air’s Seoul (Incheon) route from the winter schedule. With the resumption of China Southern Airlines’ Harbin service, all international flights that were in service before the coronavirus pandemic will be restored.
