The landing module of the spacecraft “Tianwon-1” landed on Mars a few days ago. China has managed to write its name in the golden pages of space history, making a successful landing on Mars from its first attempt. So far, only NASA has been successful in “priming” the Red Planet. Many missions to Mars have failed, with the Soviet Union and Russia losing all their spacecraft to the Red Planet.
China has released the first images taken by its probe on Mars. At the same time, Beijing released images of the Red Planet from orbit, as well as a video of the landing.

The rover weighs about 240 kilograms, has six wheels and four solar panels and can move on the surface of Mars at 200 meters per hour.
It has scientific instruments that will be used to gather information about the composition of the planet’s surface and its geological structure and climate.
Landing is a huge challenge, as Mars has its own atmosphere unlike the Moon. If all goes according to plan, the rover Zhuzhong, named after the Chinese god of fire, will explore the Red Planet for at least three months.
