The sanctions included Trump’s Minister Pompeo, White House National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, White House Trade and Manufacturing Policy Director Peter Navarro, and David Stillwell, Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that “they and their immediate family members are prohibited from entering mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao,” and “the companies and organizations related to them are also restricted from doing business in China.”
