F1® 22 has just been updated across all platforms with exciting new features waiting for you. Along with numerous bug fixes (full patch notes available here), the Shanghai International Circuit, a special edition of the Ferrari livery and a Moon Party themed event are now available.
Shanghai International Circuit
Following the integration of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (also known as Portimão) last month, discover the Shanghai International Circuit in China now in F1® 22.
The Shanghai International Circuit, whose last race in F1® dates back to 2019, is best known for its first two high-speed corners, its two titanic straights and its many technical combinations of corners.
Lewis Hamilton is the latest driver to win at this 5,451km circuit, ahead of his former teammate Valtteri Bottas. In the previous eight F1® visits to Shanghai, only two manufacturers (Mercedes and Ferrari) have achieved victory.
F1® 22 is the only place where you can see how the new era of Formula 1® cars behave on this circuit. All you have to do is play in Grand Prix, Time Trial or Multiplayer mode.
Special Ferrari livery
Ahead of the Monza Grand Prix, Ferrari unveiled a unique livery last week to celebrate the event at home. We are delighted to announce that this special Modena Yellow livery will replace the current Scuderia Ferrari F1-75 livery in F1® 22 for a limited time.
In addition, helmets, gloves, boots and suits by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will also be available in this spectacular yellow livery, as well as the Ferrari pit crew outfits.
The news of the special Ferrari Giallo Modena update will only be available for a few weeks, so don’t wait to hit the track and take full advantage of it.
Moon Festival event
To celebrate the Moon Festival, you can take on a special gaming challenge by participating in the special weekly “Running F1 Start” event. Six laps from the end of the Singapore Grand Prix, you must help rookie driver Zhou Guanyu overtake his childhood hero Fernando Alonso and teammate Valtteri Bottas for his best ever performance in Formula 1®.
From September 12-25, you can unlock a customizable Kohaku Koi livery if you finish at least 7th in the event. Go to Multiplayer> Weekly Event to give it a try.
