Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
China launched a meteorological satellite into Earth’s orbit on Thursday (3/6).
The satellite, named Fengyun-4B, is a new-generation meteorological satellite launched by China into orbit. The FY-4B flew aboard a Long March-3B rocket launched from the Xichang Launch Center.
Once in orbit, FY-4B will function to forecast the weather and monitor disasters.
