BEIJING: China has refused to share information with a World Health Organization-led team investigating the origin of corona. China declined to provide details of the preliminary cases. This was stated by Dominic Dwyer, an Australian expert who is a member of the World Health Organization team.
The World Health Organization has asked for details of 174 patients who were initially infected with the corona virus that broke out in Wuhan. But China has not provided full details of these patients. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that the patient’s information is important because the initial outbreak is linked to the Wuhan market.
Dominic Dwyer says the reason for China’s withdrawal from the investigation is not clear. It is doubtful that there are other political pressures behind this. He said China’s refusal to provide such information would be mentioned in the final report of the World Health Organization.
In December 2019, the corona virus erupted from the Wuhan market in China. Millions of people have died from the virus. The World Health Organization (WHO) team arrived in China last month to investigate.
