BEIJING, Nov. 10 (Reuters) – China is ready to work with the United States to overcome the differences between the two countries, Chinese President Xi Jinping said ahead of his virtual meeting with his American counterpart, Joe Biden.
In a letter read on Tuesday by Chinese Ambassador to the United States Qin Gang, Xi Jinping said China was ready to cooperate with the United States on regional and international issues.
The date for the virtual meeting between the two presidents has not been announced, but a person familiar with the matter said it could be held next week.
