CHINA, suaramerdeka.com – China reportedly trying to find planet with Earth-like conditions outside solar system for humans to live in by 2026.
This quest will be called the Earth 2.0 mission.
The Earth 2.0 mission is an effort of the Academy of Sciences China to find planet that can be inhabited by mankind using satellites.
Currently, the satellite is in the final stages of the initial design phase.
If successfully reviewed in June, it could be built and launched on a Long March rocket by the end of 2026.
Armed with seven telescopes in the Earth 2.0 satellite, this tool will look into the depths of space for four years.
Six of the telescopes will later see the constellation Cygnus-Lyra, which has been examined by NASA’s Kepler telescope.
