BEIJING, KOMPAS.com – China conditions of withdrawal forty for tourists arriving in the country from Sunday (8/1/2023).
This rule ends the period of isolation of the country from the international world even as the “Country of the Pandas” is struggling against the surge in cases COVID-19 recently.
Last month, i.e. December 2022, Beijing relaxed the strict rules in the country’s zero-Covid approach.

The zero-Covid rule policy has hit the Chinese economy and sparked nationwide demonstrations, as reported AFP extension.
In the latest regulations, Beijing announced that travelers entering China will no longer be required to undergo quarantine.
Since March 2020, China has implemented a rule that all arrivals must undergo a three-week quarantine in a centralized government facility.

In the summer of 2022, the old quarantine rule was reduced to one week. In November 2022, the quarantine period will be five days.
After China lifted foreign travel restrictions in December 2022, Chinese nationals flocked to buy plane tickets overseas.
However, more than 12 countries have implemented special restrictions on visitors from China as the country has experienced a spike in Covid-19 cases.
Beijing has called travel restrictions imposed by other countries unacceptable.
