The National Health Commission of China (NHC) said today that as of Sunday, Jan. 10, China has found 103 new cases of COVID-19, of which 85 are in the country. The remaining people are infected from foreign countries.
The NHC said the figure was the highest number of new cases in more than five months. Continues to increase
The report states that Of the new cases, 82 are in northern China’s Hebei province, two in Liaoning province and one in Beijing.
Xinhua news agency reported that NHC data also indicated that as of Sunday, Jan 10, China had a cumulative total of 4,430 foreign cases, of which 4,132 were allowed to leave. Hospital due to full recovery while 298 still have to be in hospital. And no additional deaths were reported among those infected from abroad.
The total number of cases of infection is 87,536, while 673 in hospital patients and 20 of them are critically ill.
