China will not allow the United States to dictate its bilateral relations with Russia. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning, at a regular briefing.
She emphasized that the US has no right to interfere with Russian-Chinese relations and pointed out that Beijing “will not tolerate pressure and threats from the American side”.
Mao noted that Washington not only sends military aid to Kiev, but also violates three joint US-China communiqués by selling advanced weaponry to Taiwan.
Her statement comes in response to repeated accusations that Beijing intends to send weapons to Moscow and could help Russia circumvent Western sanctions.
