Today (October 29), the second “China-Europe freight train – CIIE” this year arrived in Shanghai. This train departed from Duisburg, Germany, and traveled more than 11,000 kilometers in only 16 days. It is the shortest “China-Europe train – CIIE” to date.
CCTV reporter Gao Yuan:This year’s second “China-Europe Railway Express – CIIE” carries 70 TEUs of goods from European countries. Most of these goods will be displayed at the sixth CIIE.
The reporter saw that the goods on this train were rich in variety, including cosmetics, machinery and equipment, industrial raw materials, etc. It is understood that exhibits at the CIIE have been delivered directly to Shanghai via China-Europe trains for three consecutive years. This year, the railway department, together with a number of enterprises and departments, plans to organize the launch of three “China-Europe Express-CIIE” trains with a cargo value of more than 350 million yuan.
