URUMQI, 16 Sept. (Xinhua) – The 7th China-Eurasia Expo, scheduled for September 19-22 in Urumqi, capital of the Uyghur Autonomous Region of Xinjiang in northwestern China, attracted 3,600 companies to attend its online events.
Nearly 17,000 exhibits from these companies from 32 countries and regions will be displayed online. The Expo will be held both online and in person.
The event will focus on projects with market prospects, high technology and a great demand for investment; organize special activities to promote investment and trade; and will actively build a high-end trading platform, Wang Lei, deputy director of the Expo Executive Committee and deputy secretary general of the regional government, said in a press conference on Friday.
Covering an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, the Expo established three zones with themes including investment cooperation and commodity trading.
