We did not have to wait long for the effects, the latest figures from the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China show that in the period from January to October, gas imports into this country decreased by 10.4%. This is bad news for Russian Gazprom, especially since previous analysts had estimated the drop in gas imports to be around 1%.
