Mao Ning: As a good neighbor and good friend, we warmly congratulate Cambodia on successfully holding the seventh national election, congratulate the Cambodian People’s Party on winning the election under the leadership of Chairman Hun Sen, and wish Cambodia a new parliament and government. We believe that Cambodia will make greater achievements in national construction and development in the future and bring more benefits to the people.
In recent years, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China-Cambodia relations have developed a good momentum. The two sides have a high degree of mutual trust, close cooperation, and mutual support. They have contributed to promoting regional cooperation and maintaining international fairness and justice, and have become a model of friendly relations between countries and mutual benefits. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cambodia and the “China-Cambodia Friendship Year”.
