Tragedy outside a school in China’s Shandong Province when a truck rammed into parents and students. Eleven people are dead, including 5 children, and several have been injured, one of whom is in a critical condition, the BBC reports.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and is in custody while Police investigate whether it was an accident or intentional. Images and videos on social media show people trapped under the vehicle.
The incident comes just a few days after students returned to school for the start of the new school year.
