China bets on PC gaming graphics cards with the MTT S80

it has come up now images of what is the first PC gaming card created in China. It's about MTT S80, or Moore Threads S80, and some specifications of this equipment are already known. According to information, the Chinese GPU is equipped with a graphics chip called Chunxiao, and its 4,096 cores are called MUSA. As for memory, this will be 16GB GDDR6.

The graphics frequency is 1.8 GHz, offering a capacity of 14.4 TFLOP in FP32. In comparative terms, we could talk about a chip with performance halfway between the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and the RTX 3060 Ti.

MTT S80 graphics will run on Windows OS, being compatible with some important resources, such as DirectX.

This is the first gaming graphics card equipped with PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 interface with 128GB/s bi-directional data transfer capability. It features 3x DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1 port, supports a 1080p 360Hz refresh rate, and even supports 8K resolution graphics.

According to the details, this GPU will be available today, November 11, but, at the time of writing this article, its price had not yet been disclosed. This graphic joins its predecessor, the MTT S60, which was launched in March of this year.
