Brasilia and Beijing are seeking to resume talks on their plan to resolve the conflict on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

A source in the delegation accompanying the Brazilian leader to New York said they intended to “lay the groundwork for a peace conference to find ways to stop the conflict” between Russia and Ukraine.
