The Chinese women’s team played Japan in the gold fight on Thursday, and the Chinese men’s team did the same day with Germany, winning the final 3-0.
The Chinese national team was Xin Xiu, Jandon Fan and Lon Ma, who also won the fifth gold medal in Tokyo.
Ma and Xiu defeated Patrick Francisco and Timo Boll 3-0 (11: 7, 11: 3, 11: 9). Then Jandon Fan defeated Dmitry Ovcharov 3-2 (3:11, 11: 6, 9:11, 11: 5, 11: 3), but in the decisive game Ma with 3-1 (11: 5, 11: 9, 11 : 13 11: 7) played Boll.
