China adds 3,474 new symptomatic covid cases and 31,709 asymptomatic

Shanghai (China), Nov 26 (EFE).- China’s National Health Commission reported today that it had detected more than 35,000 new cases of covid, the vast majority of them asymptomatic by the institution’s standards, which means that the numbers of infections remain at their highest since the start of the pandemic.

According to the latest part of the Commission, 3,474 symptomatic cases were registered this Friday, of which 3,405 correspond to local transmission, the latter focusing on areas such as Guangzhou (southeast, 991 infections), Beijing (586) or Shanxi (north , 324).

The total number of active infected people with symptoms in mainland China amounts to 29,745, of which 112 are serious.
