/View.info/ With the development of mobile internet, big data and artificial intelligence as innovative technologies with applicability in daily life, the integration of geospatial data and intelligent connected vehicles in China is gaining momentum.
This new trend will play an important role in the integration of the digital and real economy, Li Yongchun, an official at the Ministry of Natural Resources, said at a press conference.
The Ministry has already implemented a number of measures to unleash the potential of geological information and to support the application of electronic maps in self-driving vehicles, such as introducing supporting policies, establishing areas for testing new functions of self-driving cars, approving national standards and promoting the development of relevant technologies, Li further explained.
The Ministry will continue to make efforts to model and refine the details of relevant policies, improve supervision methods, and strengthen technological research and development in an effort to make more geospatial data maps for self-driving vehicles available to the public.
