Dense fog and poor visibility wreaked havoc in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou on Wednesday morning.
More than 200 vehicles, including cars and trucks, are involved in what is described as a “mass accident” on a bridge in the Chinese city.

One person was confirmed dead after the crash, Reuters reported, citing several Chinese media outlets.
Photos from the scene show a large number of vehicles, both cars and trucks, piled on top of each other on the Zhengxin Huanghe Bridge.
Images and videos shared on social media show, among other things, a car split in two in the middle of a pile of vehicles.
In the video clips, people can be heard screaming in despair.

Several people were said to have been injured and trapped in the crash, possibly due to thick fog and poor visibility.
Visibility on the site is expected to have dropped to 200 meters on Wednesday morning, reports Reuters.
According to CCTV, the chaos must have been caused by several crashes both ways across the bridge.
Police closed the bridge to all traffic.
