Chilean Embassy in Brazil Opens Doors for Heritage Day: Artistic and Cultural Treasures Revealed

Within the framework of Heritage Day, the Chilean Embassy in Brazil opened its doors to Chileans, Brazilians and the general public, to show its facilities, as well as its artistic and cultural heritage. During the guided tours, the history of these facilities, the donation of the land, as well as its construction in the ’70s were explained.

The visitors expressed great interest in taking photographs in the ambassador’s office, where the work “Horse” by Delia del Carril is located. Likewise, in the lobby, attendees were able to see the exhibition “Tapeçaria de Kennedy Bahia”, a project of the Division of Cultures, Arts, Heritage and Public Diplomacy (DIRAC).

The 16th, 17th and 18th century tapestries of the official residence were another of the great attractions.
