Circle Away. On Instagram, TikTok and the like, there are more and more so-called “influencers”, i.e. people who post photos and entertaining or educational videos on the Internet and advertise products. The next Children’s University event will deal with exactly this topic.
Prof. Dr. Vanessa Haselhoff from the Unna University Campus will give an introduction to the topic of influencer marketing at a children’s university lecture in Kamen on August 30th.

What does an influencer do?
Putting videos and photos online, building up a reach and recommending products that viewers should buy – these are some of the tasks of an influencer. But what exactly is behind it and why does the influencer concept work so well? In addition to these questions, the professor also discusses with the children the benefits of the profession and possible dangers.
