Actors of the Latvian National Theater Mārtiņš Egliens and Evija Krūze have recorded children’s dream stories. The cycle “Tell me your dream” includes excerpts from 52 children’s stories selected in the creative work competition. Dream stories have traveled from all regions of Latvia and Latvian children abroad, representatives of Latvian Radio informed in a press release.

The director of the cycle “Tell me your dream” is Valdis Lūriņš and composer Valdis Zilveris. It will be heard on Sundays in December at 10.35 Latvian Radio 1 or online.

The competition of creative works was organized by the Latvian Language Agency, on the behalf of which the children’s works were evaluated and admired by the writer Valdis Rūmnieks: This shows that the annual competitions of the Latvian Language Agency have become a thorough cultural tradition. I would very much like students from other schools to try their hand at it. It is worth it!”

The actors have recorded dream stories, which have been considered by children from Riga, Brussels, Vienna, New Jersey, Gulbene, Aglona, ​​Kārsava, Ludza, Taurupe, Krāslava, Indra, Eleja, Cēsis, Vecpiebalga, Kusa, Valmiera, Burtnieki, Valdemnieki, Valdemnieki Blomes, Liepāja, Kalēti, Ventspils, Jelgava, Bauska, Vangaži, Ilūkste, Mālpils, Limbaži, Ķekava, Sloka, Dobele, Madliena, Jersika, Ogre and Salas.

The series of the show “Tell me your dream” has been created by editor Dzintra Matuzāle, sound director Andis Ploks and producer Māra Eglīte.
