The book includes poems by Inga Gaile, Uldis Ausekls, Māra Cielēna, Juris Kronbergs, Arvjs Vigula, Ieva Samauskas, Kārlis Vērdiņš and other authors, an article by Māris Rungulis about readers, this year’s anniversary – Friča Bārda, Zona Rega – poetry, previously unpublished poems by Juris Italo Weitner, a selection of poetry about health, three tales written in poetry and poems from Russian, Italian, Spanish and English.

Traditionally, the “Long Bean” is opened every year during the Poetry Days, but due to the threat of the virus, this year it has been decided not to hold an opening event in person.
