The National Institute of Child Health-Breña reported this Friday that it requests the urgent presence of blood donors to save small patients. Personnel from Hemotherapy and the Blood Bank Service have started a campaign today for citizens to join this noble cause.
According to INSN Breña, blood donation will be available tomorrow, Saturday 22, Sunday 23 and will extend the same days of next week (28, 29 and 30).
The medical and assistance staff of this hospital is installed at the main entrance door of the La Rambla shopping center, located in block 7 of Avenida Brasil, where they extract the blood from the donors. Attention is from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm.
The requirements to be a donor are to be over 18 years old, be in good health, weigh more than 50 kilos, not have donated blood in the previous three (03) months in the case of men, and four (04) previous months if it is about women.
Dr. Jackeline Santa Cruz, assistant physician at the INSN-Breña Hemotherapy and Blood Bank Service, made an earnest appeal to the population to support this cause.
