A weekend full of film fun for the whole family
On September 6th and 7th, 2024, the Kronach Filmburg will be transformed into a children’s paradise! In cooperation with the municipal youth work and the Kronach district youth association, the Filmburg invites all young cinema fans to the children’s cinema days. On these two afternoons, the young visitors can expect a colorful program of exciting films and creative activities.

It starts on Friday, September 6th, at 2:00 p.m. with the film “IF – My Imaginary Friend”: an imaginative story that takes young viewers into the world of imagination. Immediately after that, at 4:00 p.m., the long-awaited second part of the popular film “Inside Out 2” will be shown, which once again illuminates the emotional world of a child in a humorous way.
Saturday, September 7th, is also all about film. At 2:00 p.m., “The Wild Mice” will be shown, an exciting adventure that focuses on courage and friendship. The finale at 4:00 p.m. will be “Despicable Me 4”, in which the funny Minions will once again provide plenty of laughs in the fourth part of the success story.
But the films aren’t the only thing on the programme: there’s plenty of fun and variety for the children before and between the screenings. The mobile play area provides entertainment, while creativity can be let loose with arts and crafts and face painting. This makes a trip to the cinema an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
Admission costs only 5 euros per film and child, and as a special highlight each child receives a small bag of popcorn for free.
