Just around 20:30, the police were notified that four children between the ages of 11 and 14 were threatened with a knife on Rælingen, which borders Lillestrøm. The man must have been unknown to them.
It reports the police in a message on Twitter.
– We have searched for the person with several patrols without success, the police write.
Operations Manager Svein Walle in the Eastern Police District informs TV 2 that it is one of the children himself who alerted the police. The children explained that a man had pulled out a knife and behaved threateningly.
The operations manager is not aware of what was the reason for the incident.
– We have had a search, but found nothing. Work is now being done to collect video material, as well as other investigative work, says Walle.
At 02:00 on Sunday night, the operations manager at the Eastern police district, Halvor Andersen, states that they have not yet arrested anyone in the case, but that they have secured video material from the scene.
Parents are informed of the incident.
