They will not provide an update on his medical situation. “There is still a lot of uncertainty about that, and we can’t tell you that much about it yet,” said Kelly in the television program, which is completely devoted to the missing case of Tanja Groen for which her father is committed on Tuesday evening. In her acceptance speech, Kelly also reflects on the “fantastic work” that doctors and nurses do for the crime journalist.

Son Royce reflects on the enormous attention that the case of the missing 18-year-old student Tanja Groen and the De Gouden Tip Foundation has received in recent days. “Over the past few months, my father has been working day and night with the foundation. It is our father’s dream to resolve this case and many others,” he says. “Let’s work together to make this dream a reality.”

Later in the program Time for MAX, a new standings were announced about the donation amount for De Gouden Tip Foundation. A lot of money has been donated there since the attack on De Vries and the target amount of 1 million euros has almost been achieved. The counter stands at 931,000 euros on Tuesday evening.

Last week De Vries was shot after his performance in RTL Boulevard in Amsterdam, since then he has been seriously injured in hospital. It is unknown how he is doing.

Serious Threat

The live broadcast of RTL Boulevard came from Hilversum for the second time on Tuesday evening. The broadcast was canceled on Saturday after the makers had to leave the studio on Leidseplein in Amsterdam due to a serious threat. The broadcast on Sunday did not go through either. This could have been done from the Amsterdam triangle, consisting of the municipality, police and Public Prosecution Service, but RTL decided to let the program makers take a day off after the tumultuous week. Since Monday, the program has been broadcast live again from the Media Park in Hilversum.
