Rima Melati died after being treated at the hospital on Thursday (23/6) at 15.14 WIB.
Rima’s health condition has indeed deteriorated due to Decubitus Ulcers.
Aditya Tumbuan, the son of the late Rima, said that his mother had been hospitalized since a month ago.
“Today the family lost their beloved mother, Rima Melati, where she has been hospitalized since May 7,” said Aditya when met at the funeral home in the Senen area, Jakarta, Thursday (23/6).
Aditya then explained his mother’s health condition when she first had to be rushed to the hospital.
“The first time she entered the hospital, Mrs. Rima had an infection in the back of the body, the infection made her have a high fever, then we took her to the hospital and immediately entered the ICU, where she was treated for about 2 weeks, it turned out that there was another infection that spread from the first infection,” said Aditya.
“Her lungs began to be submerged in water and had to be aspirated, and from there it began to spread to the kidneys. Mother also had to do routine dialysis and even now it has been done 7 times,” he continued.
In addition, Aditya also admitted to accompanying his mother at the last moment. Even Aditya also had time to express his sincerity if his mother had to go forever.
“Today I accompanied my mother before I breathed my last, I was by my mother’s side, I had a chance to chat, I apologized,” said Aditya.
“I said, ‘If you are not strong enough, or if you feel sick, we are all sincere, we all have mercy on you, if this is the best for you,'” he continued.
Aditya also apologized for the mistakes his mother had made during his life.
“We apologize to mama, when during her life she once made a mistake, so that the mother is given the facility to be given the best place in the sight of Allah SWT,” said Aditya.

It is planned that the late Rima Melati will be buried in the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU) on Sunday (26/6).
However, the plan is uncertain because they are still waiting for other relatives who will return from abroad.
“So most likely he will be buried on Sunday (26/6) at the Tanah Kusir TPU Public Cemetery,” Aditya concluded.
